The Shape of Things to Come

Creating a shape that resonates with me is the first step. Then the goal is choosing color that animates the shape, giving it energy, weight and purpose.

A quote by the late Anne Truitt (1921-2004) expresses this beautifully.

What is important to me is not geometrical shape per se, or color per se, but to make a relationship between shape and color which feels to me like my experience. To make what feels like reality.
